The Biting Truth are passionate about transforming nutrition education in Australia. Their mission is to empower families, cooks and childcare educators with practical, evidence-based advice to support their children’s growth, development and overall well-being.
Co-founders, Anna and Alex, have fed their own kids and as Dietitians and they’ve supported hundreds of parents in raising healthy, happy and confident eaters.

Anna is an experienced pediatric dietitian with over 10 years of expertise in children’s nutrition. She is SOS-qualified and passionate about helping kids develop healthy eating habits from an early age. As a mother herself, Anna understands the importance of creating meals that are both nutritious and appealing to little tummies. She loves to cook and develop recipes that support growing bodies, making mealtime a fun and positive experience. In addition to her hands-on work with families, Anna is a guest lecturer at The University of Sydney and a sought-after media nutritionist, regularly providing expert insights to various publications and programs.

Alex is an experienced dietitian with over 10 years of practice, specializing in paediatric nutrition. As a mother of two, she understands the challenges families face, especially when it comes to fussy eating. Alex is SOS-qualified and works closely with families to address a range of nutritional concerns, offering practical, evidence-based solutions. Her background as a clinical dietitian in both public and private hospitals across Sydney, paired with her approachable style, helps families navigate nutrition with confidence, supporting healthy habits and balanced lifestyles. Alex is passionate about shaping the way early learning centres feed the children in their care. Her mission is to educate cooks, educators and business leaders on how to provide healthier options to young children.
